About the speaker

Ryan Ren - Senior Financial Analyst at Tri Global Energy

Ryan Ren specializes in renewable energy project financial modeling that involves tax equity, back-leverage debts, royalty financing, and various risk management products in the electricity commodity market.

Prior to Tri Global Energy, Ryan worked as a portfolio strategy analyst at Solid Rock Asset Management. Earlier in his career, Ryan served as an underwriting analyst with Renewable Texas Energy RC that provides mezzanine loan facilities to wind energy projects and silicon mining plants.

Bipin Alankar - Vice President - Commercial Credit Officer at Citibank

Bipin Alankar earned his M.S. in Economics in December 2012 with a focus in Applied Econometrics from the School of Economic, Political & Policy Sciences (EPPS) at the University of Texas at Dallas. In August 2013, JSOM awarded him an M.S. in Finance with a Concentration in Financial Management.

He started working as a Commercial Credit Analyst at State Bank of Texas in Dallas. He also served as an officer of Commercial Credit Lending for Bank of America and was an Underwriter for the Wells Fargo Bank division of Small Business Banking.

As a Vice President-Commercial Credit Officer and Portfolio Manager at Citibank, his primary responsibilities include reviewing analyst spreads, underwriting, and managing a portfolio of commercial banking and lower middle market clients in the technology, media, and telecommunications industries.
