  • Thank you for your interest in our PAWS spay/neuter program, offering a low-cost option for your cat or dog.

    The surgeries are performed at the Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinics in Noblesville and Brownsburg, Indiana, and usually on the third Tuesday of each month.

    Low-Cost Spay/Neuter will transport your pet(s) to the clinic, but you must drop them off at our Greenfield office, at 1224 W. Main Street, on the morning of surgery between 6:30-6:45am for CATS, and between 6:45-7:00am for DOGS.  P.A.W.S. has large crates that will be used to transport dogs.

    There is a $12 surcharge per cat (with a cap of $32 per family) for round-trip transportation.  There is a $12 surcharge per dog for round-trip transportation.

    Your pets will be coming home the SAME DAY between 6:30-7pm. PLEASE keep your phone with you, ON AND CHARGED so we may contact you with any changes in pick-up times.

    IF YOUR PET HAS FLEAS, the clinic will give it a Capstar to kill the fleas, and you will be charged an additional $8 fee.

     Please Note:  

    A $26.50 deposit per animal is due at the time you submit this application, or  you will not be given a scheduled time slot for the chosen spay/neuter transport date.

    When you pick up your animal(s) from the spay/neuter surgery, $25 of each $26.50 deposit will be applied toward the bill that you owe at that time. If the bill is less than the deposit you paid, you will be refunded the difference.

    Please note that this deposit is non-refundable should you not show or cancel your appointment less than 4 days before the date you are scheduled for.

    Female spay surgery including pain meds: $90

    Male neuter surgery including pain meds: $85

    REQUIREMENT:  Any animal in Indiana over the age of 3 months MUST BE VACCINATED AGAINST RABIES. You MUST show proof of rabies vaccination within the last 12 months when you check-in, or your pet will be vaccinated during surgery and you will be charged the additional cost.

     

     

    Outdoor Cat Package

    This package is for outside FRIENDLY cats. This package includes the spay/neuter surgery, a rabies vaccine, and a 30 day flea treatment. Please note that ALL CATS receiving this package require their left ear to be tipped, so that they can easily be identifiable as already spayed/neutered.

    Feral Cat or "Fix-It" Program

    THIS IS FOR FERAL CATS ONLY! The feral cat “fix-it” package includes the spay/neuter surgery, a rabies vaccination, and 30 day flea treatment. ALL CATS receiving the “fix-it” package are required to have their left ear “tipped” so they can easily be identified as having already been spayed/neutered. THEY MUST BE BROUGHT IN A TRAP, NOT CARRIER.

     

    FERAL CAT “FIX-IT” PACKAGE:

    Cost with pain meds: $60

    When you pick up your dog(s) from the spay/neuter surgery, $25 of each $26.50 deposit will be applied toward the bill that you owe at that time. If the bill for each animal is less than $25, you will be refunded the difference.

    Please note that this deposit is non-refundable should you cancel your appointment less than 4 days before the date you are scheduled for.

    If your dog is over 100 lbs, we are unable to provide transportation for spay/neuter services.  You may, however, contact the Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic to set up your own transportation and book a surgery directly through them.  www.lowcostspayneuterindiana.org

    Note:  There is an additional charge between $15-$50 if the animal is 5 years or older, or if a female is  pregnant or in heat.

    P.A.W.S. Spay/Neuter Tips

    We STRONGLY RECOMMEND you buy an E-collar for females. For males, E-collars are MANDATORY to keep them from licking their incision and causing infection.

    If you do not have an E-collar, any issues that arise as a result of not having one will NOT be financially covered by the spay/neuter clinic.
