What are donations for and where do they go?
BAAADU Festival Inc. uses donations towards re-educating people on the historical roots and rich diversity of African Americans and Africans throughout the Diaspora by showcasing the enormous variety of cultural experiences from music, performing arts, health, education, entertainment, politics, environment, community engagement, economic empowerment, networking commerce opportunities and nutrition as well as providing a vibrant marketplace rich in goods and commodities from around the world.
BAAADU Host events such as Alzheimer's & Dementia Community workshops to bring awarness and educate various communities.
Funds also go to supporting Village Coeur D'Amour, which supports Parents/Loved Ones who are caregivers to those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, mental health, physical illness, homeless, and/or disabled.
Contributions/Donations to BAAADU FESTIVAL INC. are tax-deductible.
BAAADU Festival Inc. is a non-profit public benefit 501(c)(3) corporation and is operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code. BAAADU Festival Inc. is not organized and shall not be operated for the private gain of any person. The property of the corporation is irrevocably dedicated to its educational and charitable purposes and no part of the receipts, or net earnings of the corporation shall be used for any activities other than its mission. BAAADU Festival Inc. will always retain control over the contributed funds and will provide the relative information regarding its activities on its website: www.baaadu.com.
