SafeHaven Animal Rescue Team, a program under the Animal House Project is a 501 c3, animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of large breed dogs, primarily Akitas. We are financially depend on private donors, grants and through our fundraising efforts, public donations. Rescue is expensive but it is our passion for the love of the large breed dogs. Our Adoption Donation is non-Refundable once a Contract is executed. We do not request any monies prior to the execution of the contract.
This donation helps to defray our expenses so that we may help other large breed dogs in need. Donations to our organization may be tax deductible.

For the success of the adoption, it is mandatory that you as the adopter take all of the information that we provide seriously. Read our Adoption Contract, visit our website and ask questions about the dogs and their personalities. How they act with our Team will vary on the families who adopt them. Your job as an adopter is to provide training, guidance, patience and love to ensure that you have a long and successful relationship with your new best friend. Give them time to acclimate.
