1. Makeup & Hair Prep
Makeup: Everyone getting makeup done should arrive with their skin thoroughly cleaned & moisturized with your normal skincare products. We suggest wearing a robe or button-down shirt during your appointment to avoid ruining makeup during undressing. We do not suggest wearing your gown or party outfit during your makeup application as it is possible for any makeup fallout to fall on your garments. It is best to have your hair pulled back off your face for your makeup application. If you are getting hair done prior to makeup please have your hair stylist temporarily pin back your hair for makeup.
Hair: For blowout hair should be freshly washed and wet (partially air dried is ok) with no products in it. For updos we suggest 1 day old unwashed hair as long as there isn't a ton of product or oil on the hair. Curls and styling last longer for updos when hair isn't just freshly washed. We suggest wearing a robe or button-down shirt during your appointment to avoid ruining any hair styling when undressing. We do not suggest wearing your gown or party outfit during your services as it is possible for any product fallout to fall on your garments.
To secure a date, this signed contract is required with a 20% deposit. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup times will only be reserved when a signed contract and deposit are received. The deposit amount will be sent via electronic invoice and can be paid online. Your deposit will be subtracted from the final invoice.
3. Invoice Balance
You will receive an invoice for the remaining balance via email and a reminder notice 14 and 7 days prior to your wedding date. We ask the remaining balance be settled 7-14 days prior to your wedding date. We suggest having the bridal party pay you directly their portion ahead of time and then you just settle the remaining invoice. It makes for a smoother day of wedding experience as normally there is a ton going on. Tips can be given to the makeup artist on the day of the wedding.
4. Cancelation Policy
If you need to reschedule your wedding date due to COVID-19 state-mandated closures or restrictions we will transfer your deposit to the rescheduled wedding date as long as it is within 18 months of the original wedding date. If there is a scheduling conflict and we can not rebook your rescheduled date a credit will be applied to your account to use on any of our services or products.
Your rates and fees are based on your wedding party booking size so please note that once your deposit is paid no bridal party cancelations can be made or subtracted from your final invoice.
Please note all sales are final.
5. Timing & Delays
Each makeup application requires a certain length of time to be finished and is not to exceed the time limit. For bridal party we normally schedule them in 30 minute intervals & for the Bride we give 60 minutes. We suggest that you give everyone a "Be Ready" estimated start time for their makeup so we do not run behind. We suggest the Bride is the last one to get makeup done. Any additional makeup needs outside the original invoiced total will only be performed at the discretion of the makeup artist if there is time.
All persons involved in makeup appointments need to be available at the scheduled time of said appointment in order to incur a late fee or possible non-refundable appointment cancelation. A late fee of $25.00 will be charged for every 25 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled time, or if scheduled makeup exceeds the allotted time because of client delays. All makeups for more than one person must be at the same location and consecutive in time (no gaps in between).
6. Last Minute Application Requests
If anyone not originally accounted for needs makeup it is up to your makeup artist, if she has time, to decide to do any last minute makeup applications. The last minute application can either be a full face or eyes only application at your quoted rate. Any requests for just eye liner or any other a la carte type of service can not be accommodated.
7. Off Site Set-up Requirements
Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements the makeup artist needs to complete the makeups. A set up table/work area needs to be made available for the makeup artist at said location. Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly. A barstool / chair is requested.
8. Early Call Times
Please note there may be an additional fee for any early call times outside of normal business hours.
9. On-Site Mobile Service Minimum
Please note there is a minimum requirement for any on-site mobile service requests. We currently do not offer any mobile appointments for less than 4 people and/or a $500 minimum depending on location.
