For Girl Scout adults and Ambassadors. Learn basic first aid, adult and child CPR, and AED procedures. Many Girl Scout activities outside of regular troop meetings require a First Aid/CPR trained adult.
This class will be conducted both on line and in person. When the instructor has the class roster, she will enter data into the American Red Cross site. Then ARC will send you a link to watch the CPR and First Aid videos online ahead of your in person class.
After watching the videos, you will receive an emailed certificate from ARC. Please email a copy of that to Kelley at email@example.com or print it out and bring it with you.
You may wish to bring something to kneel on while practicing with your manikin. Also bring your own water and water bottle if you’d like. You will have your own manikin.
Cost: $35. Most of this fee goes to the Red Cross for your certificate; the remainder is for consumables used in the class. Payment must be brought to the class. You may pay in exact CASH or you may bring a check or money order payable to GSK Metro CPR. Do NOT pay the Girl Scout office for this class.
