Completion of this form does NOT mean your child is signed up for everything on this list. The Youth Group/Parish will be responsible for teens after they arrive at the event.
SMILE High School Meetings—the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at St. Andrew in the Church Hall or school from 7-8pm. Meetings will take place outside if possible. Meetings may consist of social time, snack, icebreakers/games, small/large group activities and prayer time. Transportation is on your own. High School Meetings are open to 9th-12th grade students. There is no charge to come to Meetings.
Junior High Nights--the 7th and 8th grade teens will generally meet on the first or second Friday of the month at St. Andrew (outside or in the school/church basement). September 9, October 7, November 4, December 2, January 6, February 3, March 3, April 21*, May 5. These evenings will generally run from 7-8pm and will consist of icebreakers/games, small/large group activities and prayer time. Transportation is on your own. There is no charge to come to Junior High Nights. 6th grade students are welcome to join starting in January.
Game Night at Sem Villa—usually takes place on the 3rd Thursday of each month (September 15, October 20, November 17, December 15, January 19, February 16, March 16, April 20, May 18, June 15, July 20, August 17). We meet at Sem Villa 6:30-7:30pm. Transportation is on your own. Once there, we play card games, work on crafts, etc. with the residents. Game nights are open to 7th-12th grade students. There is no charge for Sem Villa.
SMILE Fundraisers/Events—Oktoberfest at Miami Boat Club September 25, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Fish Fry (February 24 & March 24)—teens will be busing tables, helping in the kitchen, running children’s games, etc. Transportation is on your own. Fundraisers are open to 7th-12th grade students.
Catalyst--cosponsored by SMILE and Divine Mercy Coop. This is open to current 6th-9th grade and takes place in the Church Basement at St Andrew (10/24, 11/7, 12/12, 1/23, 2/6, 3/6, 4/3, 5/1). There is no formal charge but there is a free will offering for food/NET/housing.
