By signing this waiver 1) I understand the potential risk of injury or illness from paddle boating is significant; and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury or illness does exist; and, I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM ALL NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others and assume full responsibility for my participation; and, 2) As the person signing this form, I take full responsibility for the participants in my group even if I am not directly participating in the activity 3) I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such hazard to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and, 4) I, for myself and for the participants in my group, on behalf of our heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS Buddies Inc LLC DBA Liberty Park Amusement, and Salt Lake City Corporation; their officers & directors, officials, agents,and/or employees, other participants, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct activities/ special event (“RELEASEES”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE. 5)  I also acknowledge that photographs and video may be taken of me in my participation in, and attendance at this activity, and hereby freely agree to allow without restriction all uses of such photos and videos in the reporting of activities, and/or in the promotion of such, and/or its location, and/or other events. By signing below I acknowledge that I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I ALONG WITH THE PARTICIPANTS IN MY GROUP HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND SIGN IT FREELY.

Paddleboat Rules

All children between 30 to 40 inches must be accompanied by responsible adult. They must be able to stand and hold on without help and must wear a lifejacket at all times. Children smaller than 30 inches are not allowed to ride.
Do not to ride around the gazebo island since the water is too shallow. You can get stuck or damage the boats.
Do not stand during your ride as this makes the boats unstable and you may fall.
Please do not bother the ducks, geese or wildlife.
Do not pick up other riders from the shore or island while you are on the boat.
Do not park the boat and exit for any reason.
Secure your personal belongings and electronic devices. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged personal property.
We recommend washing your hands after the boat ride to prevent any waterborne illness.
No personal water-crafts are allowed on the lake.
Maximum capacity 4 persons.
Maximum weight 725 lbs per boat and 250 lbs per person.
If you go over your allotted ticket time, you will need to purchase another ticket.

Lifejacket Policy
Riders 12 years and younger must wear a life jacket at all times.
Riders 13 years and older must have a lifejacket within arms reach at all times

Operator may remove anyone from the ride if the rules are not observed.
