The purpose of this funding opportunity is to help increase the number of certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in the small and rural schools of Texas.
In order to be considered for financial assistance for the SLP Master's Degree Distance Venue Tuition Reimbursement Program, please complete this application.
Prior to submitting this application, you must have submitted, or be in process of submitting an application to the Cycle 13 SLP Master's Degree Distane Venue and have received a letter of recommendation from your Special Education Director/Supervisor/Professor for the SLP Tuition Reimbursement Program consideration (upload below).

Ownership of a personal computer or laptop is required for participation in the Cycle 13 SLP Master's Degree Distance Venue. Proper maintenance of personal computers and other technical equipment is the responsibility of the individual student. The equipment requirements listed below are subject to change and may be updated as needed.
In addition to the computer, students should have:
• High speed internet
• Several current version browsers installed on the computer
• A current anti-virus program (Norton, McAfee, Symantec, etc.)
• Webcam and headphones with a microphone (suggested brand is Logitech) or webcam with a microphone and computer speakers (suggested brand is Logitech)
• Sound card and speakers
• Adobe Acrobat Reader PRO
• Microsoft Word (not Works, etc.)
• Microsoft Power Point
• Scanner
• International Phonetic Alphabet fonts (downloads available on the web)
Backup everything on a hard drive or cloud. Students should back up their drives frequently and keep copies of everything sent.
