Cabaret Registration

The upcoming October 2nd cabaret is full and we can't take on any more singers.

Our next cabaret at the Laurie Beechman Theater will be on October 2nd at 7 pm.

This is a mixed-age cabaret. Singers range in age from 10 to 70. Many of our younger singers are enrolled in NYC area performing arts schools and colleges and have professional aspirations.

There is a $200 fee to participate in our workshops, which end in a performance at the Laurie Beechman Theater.

We don't require an audition but if we haven't heard you sing before, we do ask for a video sample of your singing. At the end of the form, you can provide a link to your song, or attach one to this form.

We limit participation to 12 singers and each singer gets to perform a minimum of two songs.

This is cabaret workshop with one Zoom meeting and two in-person rehearsals at a Manhattan rehearsal studio.

Schedule

Zoom Meeting: Sunday 9/13 from 6pm-7pm
Rehearsals: Sundays 9/20 (3pm-6pm) & 9/27 (3pm-5pm)
Call time at the theater: 10/2 at 4:14 pm
Tech rehearsal at the theater: 10/2 from 4:30pm-5:30pm
Doors open for guests: 5:30pm

Laurie Beechman Theatre is downstairs at the West Bank Cafe, 407 W. 42nd Street.

Our show will be 60 to 75 minutes long.

A video will be made of the complete show and provided afterwards, along with clips of each of your songs.

Please note that we have limited spaces available – no more than 12 singers!

About the Laurie Beechman

The Laurie Beechman is a warm and welcoming dinner theater venue where we've hosted many successful cabarets in the past. Many, many well-known Broadway and cabaret professionals have performed there over the years. Most recently the Laurie Beechman hosted the musical Hamilton's 10th Anniversary celebration!

The West Bank Cafe and the theater are under new ownership and the theater has been beautifully redesigned.

Guests will be charged a $20 cover (plus a $5 ticketing service fee) and the venue requires guests to spend a minimum of $25 on food and drinks. In total, each guest should be prepared to spend at least $50 on this event.

The West Bank Café, located upstairs, will prepare the food, and the menu is the same for the café and the theatre.

Doors will open for audience seating at 5:30 pm, and the show will begin at 7:00 pm.
