  • Campus Chapter Requirements

    After submitting this application, you will receive a formal chapter agreement form to sign, that details these requirements. Please read them and ensure that your chapter can meet these requirements.
  • 1. My chapter will register as a student organization during our first semester as a chapter.

    2. My chapter will have at least three active members.

    3. All active volunteers in my chapter must register as Sharing Excess volunteers and abide by all volunteer regulations.

    4. Every member in my chapter, regardless of whether they are volunteering on food rescue or not, will complete the Sharing Excess Member Registration form. 

    5. My chapter will identify a faculty advisor during our first semester as a chapter, if we do not already have one. 

    6. My chapter will meet at least once a month, and I will check in with our chapter leadership team once a week. 

    7. My chapter will submit two bi-annual surveys every year in order to update SE HQ on our impact and status as a chapter.

    2. My chapter will commit to consistently working on Sharing Excess-affiliated programming, which can take the form of food rescue/distribution, food waste/insecurity advocacy, and fundraising.
