• Dear Applicant,

Thank you so much for your interest in adopting from us. We are a small, all-volunteer, no-kill rescue based in Brooklyn. Our work focuses on the cats who need extra care and advocacy such as seniors, medically fragile cats, and those with behavioral challenges. Our goal is simple: to place every cat in a safe, loving, and permanent home.

You are not purchasing a pet. You are welcoming a living, feeling being into your family for the rest of their life. Cats form deep bonds and depend on us completely. This application helps us ensure that each cat is placed in a home where they will be understood, protected, and loved. All information you provide is kept strictly confidential.

We do not operate on a first-come basis. We focus on the best match for each individual cat. All placements begin with a two-week foster-to-adopt period, giving everyone time to adjust. After two weeks, once you feel confident in the match, we will provide the adoption certificate and medical record. If for any reason the placement does not work, whether due to compatibility or unforeseen life changes, we will always welcome the cat back.

Cats often live 15–25 years. Please consider your long-term stability, including travel, moving, family changes, and financial readiness. Responsible care includes veterinary treatment when needed, routine preventative care, quality nutrition, and proper supplies. You must be at least 21 years old to adopt.

All cats are vetted prior to adoption, including a veterinary exam, FIV/FeLV testing, spay/neuter, deworming, flea treatment, and core vaccinations. When needed, we also provide dental care or other medical treatment before placement.

    Adoption fees are:

    • $300 for kittens under 1 year

    • $500 for a bonded pair

    • $250 for adult and senior cats

Filtered or spring water is required, and proof of a filtration system or spring water stock must be shown at adoption. An in-person home safety and verification check is also required. These requirements and adoption fees are not negotiable. Texting a home video tour to 7182163988 upon completion of this application may expedite your approval.

Most importantly, any cat adopted from us may be returned to us at any time, for any reason. Our responsibility to them is lifelong, and we will always ensure they remain safe and cared for.

Thank you for taking the time to apply and for caring about cats who truly need it most. Looking forward to the best part ahead,

    Patricia Honey
