Maintenance & home care

The client is aware that the longevity of the service and/or extensions is dependent on maintaining the recommended haircare regimen between appointments that may include but is not limited to: - using the recommended professional shampoo, conditioner, and treatment products. - Only using recommended hair brushes on extensions and brushing 3x daily, working from the bottom of extensions to the top of the weft. - Blow drying the top of the weft to ensure they don’t hold onto moisture for an extended period of time. - Never going to bed with wet hair - Oil on the mids/ends of entendions daily. - Use Silk/satin pillowcase and sleep in a low braid or ponytail. Be cautious of the following - Avoid getting sunscreen in the hair and only use sunscreens that are free of the Avobenzone and Oxybenzone. Can cause hair to turn a brassy pink/peach colour. - Avoid hard water, salt water, and chlorine water. These can strip both natural hair and extensions of colour. Use a water softener if necessary and, although it is not recommended, if you choose to go swimming saturate hair in conditioner or mask and wear in a braid. - Avoid high temps on hot tools and blow dryers and use a heat protectant every use. Replace styling tools every 2-5 years. Recommended maintenance appointments: - Extension maintenance appointments are every 6-10 weeks. Anything above and beyond 10 weeks is not recommended and can increase the risk of the extensions matting and can cause stress to the natural hair. Please keep in mind proper maintenance will look different client to client based on their natural hair textures and density and not everyone will be able to go beyond 6 weeks. - Recommended colour maintenance appointments will vary for each client and will be determined by the stylist and client. Please sign to acknowledge that you are aware of the recommended at home care regimen.

Cancellation Policy

I understand things come up and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. I kindly ask you provide at least 24 hours notice of any changes. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a 50% service fee before booking any further appointments. If for any reason you are expecting to be late, please give a text or call as a heads up. Anything beyond 15 minutes may be considered a no show and subject to a fee of 100% of the scheduled service. Accommodating late guests will often disrupt other scheduled appointments for the day as I am very careful to allot just the right amount of time per client, as to service as many clients as possible. Please be aware that in the unfortunate event you are 15+ minutes late, there is no guarantee your appointment can be performed that day or performed in full — and you may be subject to a no show fee and required to reschedule to a later date.
