  • Recovery Road Ministries Recovery Program is a Christian Faith Based Recovery Program that is a 10-month commitment. It is a Christian Rehabilitation Home with an in-house recovery program. We are not a medical facility nor a homeless shelter.

    By signing this application you are acknowledging that upon being accepted, you are committing to attending a 10-month, in-house recovery program and agree to follow the recovery program, house rules, and directives of the Executive Director and Staff. Violations of the rules and directives will lead to dismissal from the program.

  • Recovery Road Ministries House Policies

  • Recovery Road is considered a voluntary program.  Our policies are intended as a guideline and are subject to change with individual circumstances. The policies set forth are to protect the overall well-being and recovery of all residents within our home.  Our intention is to give each resident the tools for success while providing a safe place to heal and to begin to rebuild one’s life.

    Drug Testing

    Residents will be given random drug/alcohol and Kratom tests periodically throughout the program.  At any time should a resident test positive for drugs or alcohol after testing completely negative prior, they will be immediately dismissed from the program.

    Medical Treatment/Prescription Medication

    No narcotics will be allowed while in the program.  All medical care will be provided by Rural Health Services unless approved by the executive director. 

    Mail

    Residents are permitted to send and receive mail upon arrival. The mail that is received will be opened and searched in front of the resident. No mail to or from a correctional facility will be allowed.

    Phone Calls

    After two (2) full weeks the resident will be allowed to make a 15-minute phone call to family or an approved person, no boyfriends/girlfriends.  A total of two (2) supervised 15-minute phone calls are permitted per week upon approval of House Director/House Manager.    

    Visitation

    After four (4) full weeks the resident may have regular visitation 1pm-5pm Saturday and/or 1pm - 4pm Sunday. On Sundays, if the family attends church with the resident, they are welcome to come back to the house immediately following service.  Visitation is limited to immediate family or sponsor only.  Special guest requests may receive approval. No boyfriends/girlfriends allowed at any time.  Residents are limited to a maximum of four (4) visitors at a time unless special approval has been granted in advance.  There will be no Relationships with persons of the opposite/same sex while in the program.

    **Please note that visitors are subject to random drug testing.  Any visitor who fails a drug test will be asked to leave premises unless proof of narcotic prescription from a doctor is provided.

    Church Conduct

    Residents will attend Church Wednesday night and Sunday.  On Sunday, for the first ninety (90) days residents are expected to sit with one another as a group during church services. Family/ Visitors are allowed to sit nearby the designated resident area. Residents are encouraged to fellowship with other church members but must remain in groups of at least two at all times.  After ninety (90) days residents are permitted to sit anywhere in the church with their family or with other female church members and their families. Residents are not permitted to sit with men alone or boyfriends/girlfriends.

    Day Passes

    At ninety (90) days, Residents will be allowed one 8-hour day pass per thirty (30) days. Passes will be accrued on the resident’s anniversary date and must be taken within the following thirty (30) days.  Day passes are only to be taken on weekends or specific holidays which include New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.  Day passes will only be granted to residents who have not received a written warning in the prior thirty (30) days.  Pass requests are to be submitted for approval, one week before the scheduled date.  All day passes will be reviewed by the director.  All residents will be drug tested upon returning from any day pass.

    **Please note that family/friends coming to pick up are subject to random drug testing.  Any family member/friend who fails a drug test will not be permitted to leave with the resident.

    Overnight Passes

    At six (6) months, Residents will be allowed one 24- hour overnight pass per thirty (30) days. Overnight passes are only to be taken on weekends or specific holidays which include New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.  Overnight passes will only be granted to residents who have not received a written warning in the prior thirty (30) days.  Pass requests are to be submitted for approval, two weeks before the scheduled date.  All overnight passes will be reviewed by the director. All residents will be drug tested upon returning from any overnight pass.

    **Please note that family/friends coming to pick up are subject to random drug testing.  Any family member/friend who fails a drug test will not be permitted to leave with the resident.

  • Recovery Road Ministries recognizes the rights of all individuals’ privacy and holds each person’s confidentiality in the highest regard. Any information disclosed will be done with the consent of the client prior to discussing confidential information and used solely for Recovery Road Ministries' purposes. Upon acceptance into Recovery Road Ministries, each client is given the opportunity to complete all necessary releases of information to provide the ability of staff to discuss important information with those that the important or necessary for continuity of care. No information will be disclosed to any party without the written, documented consent of the client.
