Assessor Role Description
Employment Status: Independent Contractor
Location: Remote Based
Hours of Work: Contractual dependent on business needs; minimum requirement of 3 assessments per week
Travel: not required for daily work. Attendance at yearly summit requires travel.
While under contract, lead by: National TAP Team Leadership
Position Summary: Assessors watch and assess certification videos for competency standards. These videos can be 1 track, , full assessment videos, or Grade Reviews. Assessors work closely with TAP Leadership as well as the Instructor Experience team to support instructors through the assessment process. This includes assessing videos and reviewing videos, as well as implementing quality assurance and standardization across the assessor team in line with IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) strategy.
Key Relationships: Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with:
- LMUS team—office and TAP
- LMUS Instructor Community
Key Accountabilities:
- To assess instructor certification videos to competency standards
- To write well developed feedback for instructors based on the Les Mills process
- To utilize 4WH feedback and coaching through the Les Mills Qualification framework to accurately assign grades and levels
- To be an active and engaged member of TAP team
Deliverables:
- Submission of Assessments and supporting documents
- Submission of Invoice
- Feedback from all assessments at global standards
- Pass Rates reflect global standards
- IQA deliverables are completed on time
- Positive feedback consistently received from Assessor Lead
- Attend Les Mills US Summit
- Attend monthly TAP team calls and annual Assessor and Standardization Day Calls
