Women in Football Scholarships
The Women in Football Scholarship Program is an initiative of Northern NSW Football that has been established under the NSW Football Legacy Program. The range of scholarships will provide financial assistance to females in non-playing roles to access training and education which will lift their capacity and the capacity of football more broadly.
The Women in Football Scholarship Program will provide opportunity for match officials, community coaches, advanced coaches, and club administrators to access a range of education and development opportunities.
Coach Education and Development
All-female Community Coach Education Courses will be run across the region where indivduals can access courses on a Scholarship basis. Scholarships include financial assistance equal to the relevant course fee.
Express interest for your club to host a course in 2023
NNSWF are seeking Expressions of Interest from clubs to host a Community Coach Education Course in 2023. Courses will be run as all-female Coaching Courses and will allow individuals to attend on a scholarship basis (scholarships cover the course fee for participants).
An Expression of Interest doesn't guarantee a coaching course will be hosted at your club. Course locations are at the discretion of Northern NSW Football and subject to the availability of presenters.
