Gymnastics Australia wish to extend to you the invitation to attend the Body Care Panel Discussion during the 2022 National Clubs Carnival, to begin our educational journey towards a body care culture in gymnastics in Australia. This session will provide you with the opportunity to hear from individuals who can share their experience, knowledge and understanding of the risks of body shaming practices and language in sport.

Taking place on Sunday 25th September, 3.00pm (AEST), you are invited to join the panel discussion in either a face to face or virtual capacity.

Attendance at this session will be awarded one (1) updating point. To ensure your updating points are allocated correctly, please ensure you register individually. Sharing the meeting details without registration may mean updating points cannot be awarded.
Face to face, at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure CentreOnline, via Microsoft Teams
This session will be held in the Currumbin Room (upstairs) at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre.

If you will not hold an official accreditation for the 2022 National Clubs Carnival, you will need to obtain a wristband from the Accreditation Centre at the venue prior to the session. Without a wristband, you will not be able to access the meeting rooms at the venue.

The wristband will be valid only for the duration of the meeting and individuals must leave the accredited zone/meeting room promptly.

Light refreshments will be available from 2.30pm (AEST).
This session will be hosted virtually via Microsoft Teams. The relevant meeting information will be provided to you prior to the event.
