In 2001, a group of southern HIV leaders from public health and community came together and crafted the original Southern States Manifesto--a detailed slate of demands that laid the foundation for southern HIV advocacy!
The Manifesto led to the creation of Southern AIDS Coalition [SAC] and has been updated over the years. SAC is seeking input from across the region for a new slate of demands during this critical time.
What is necessary to ensure people in the South have access to HIV prevention, care, and treatment?
What is required to ensure that historically marginalized communities are seen, served, and thriving?
What are your demands?
We want to hear from you!
