Thank you for your interest! 4-H volunteers are essential to help youth make the most of a wide variety of learning experiences. Volunteering is an opportunity for you to share your personal interest by demonstrating expertise in subjects as varied as robotics, food and nutrition, public speaking, agriculture, science, community service and more.
In 4-H, you can leverage your experiences and skills to help a young person find their own passions and interests.
And with a variety of options, you can decide on the level of involvement that fits your skills and schedule:
- Lead a workshop in one of our wide range of 4-H project areas (sewing, photography, fishing, woodworking, electricity, etc). Give us a few hours on a weekend or weeknight to lead a hands-on workshop.
- Lead a youth within after school settings, or through a community club
- Serve as a 4-H judge at the county fair
- Develop a community service project for 4-H youth to participate in
- Share your skills as a Special Interest Club leader by teaching a six week class on a topic you are passionate about such as sewing, fishing, cooking, arts, writing, photography, gardening and other skills.
- Work with us to create other fun and exciting programs!
