The Felix Gonzalez-Torres Foundation is the sole licensor of copyright in and to all works by Felix Gonzalez-Torres. Reproductions of the work of Felix Gonzalez-Torres may be licensed for educational, scholarly, or commercial uses. Please complete the Request Form so that we may evaluate your request and understand the needs of your project. Submissions will be handled in the order they are received; incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.

Any content shared with the Foundation will only be reviewed internally and will not be distributed in any way. Please either upload a .pdf or word document. You can also copy and paste the text in the field provided below.

The Foundation will not be able to respond to a reproduction request until the content has been received.

If not in English, please run any text through a translation service (such as Google Translate) before submitting.

Please ensure the spelling of the artist's name is correct. Please consult the specific work page for accurate spelling and punctuation prior to submitting materials. The quotation marks in the work titles are intentional and should be included. Any submissions that include incorrect spelling, formatting and/or punctuation will be subject to delay.

Fees & Processing Times
The Felix Gonzalez-Torres Foundation determines fees based on projected use. The reproduction fee will vary depending on the specifics of each request and details such as print run, distribution, print size, and publication type.

Please note that the Foundation’s current practice is to waive any and all licensing fees associated with educational usage.

Requests are processed in the order they are received. We make every effort to respond promptly, but please allow 7-14 business days for a response.

As per the Foundation’s educational mission, we ensure accurate information is reproduced when reviewing reproduction requests. Please note, sharing resources and information does not automatically qualify for approval of an image license.

Once a request has been reviewed and accepted, a Non-Exclusive License Agreement and corresponding invoice will be sent by email. In order for the Foundation to process a request, a signed copy must be returned and the invoice paid in full.
