• At least a couple of days of advance notice is required for cancellation.
• Please don't cancel unless it's an emergency.
• Same days cancellations or No shows are charged the full session fees. 
• My schedule is really busy and many students need the time. if you cancel the same day and a day prior, other students may not be able to adjust their schedule.Hence the stricter cancellation policy. Hope you understand. 

• The payment needs to be made as soon as possible on the same day after the session. 
• Please DO NOT make any advance payments. 
• Payments can be made to either PayPal, Venmo or Zelle. Use email id mathworldacademy@gmail.com for Zelle. For Venmo, User ID- @promo1
• All the payments made are NON-Refundable
• For paypal, please use 'Friends and Family' optio. If not you will need to pay 10% extra.

We will not charge for any notes or any extra material provided during the session. However, If there a need to register for any external websites or programs, then the client will have to pay for the license fees for that. 

Any other extra services such as College Essay reviews, Bootmcamps will have their specific rates which might be different than your regular fees. Please discuss it before you signup. 

• For Daily clients, The payments must be received within 1 day of the session completion.
• For Weekly payment clients, The payments must be received before EOD Sunday. 
• For Monthly clients, The payments must be received before 15th of the next month.
• Only for Monthly clients, we will send an invoice with all the session details. Please verify with your records and then make a payment.
• We use Salesforce app to keep track of the session so you dont have to.
• Late fees of $10 shall be charged if failed to make the payment within stipulated time. 

• The Instructor shall do all preperations prior to lessons and to structure lessions in such a way as to optimize the time to the benefit of the student.
• The Instructor will provide all the class notes to the student. The class notes will be shared to the students on microsoft one-note app.  
• The Instructor shall keep confidential all information of the student and shall contact the parents if the access is required for such a confidential data such as Grades etc. 
• The instuctor may ask the student to share the screen and look at the grades but may not download or save it. 
• The Instructor shall at no time be required or obliged to execute homework, assignments or take tests on behalf of the student. If found the student will be removed from the roster without any refund. 

• Communicate promptly if any rescheduling changes or cancellations.
• The students attends the session on time. The instrutor will wait only for 15mins. 
• The students is fully prepared for the class i.e. have access to pen, pencil, notebook, calculators, laptops etc.
• Provide a quite and distraction free working space during the online meetings. Please avoid excessive background noises.
• Student has their VIDEO ON and the mic unmuted at all times. 
• All the softwares are upto date and the devices are fully charged.

• Share the daily school progress, school schedule, teacher notes etc. 
• Promptly communicate any quiz or tests coming up. Share any relevate material.
• Completes the assigned homwork before the next session. 
• Be ready to share their classwork, homework etc and be prepared with questions if needed. The material can be whatsapp'eds or emailed.
• Always have the zoom VIDEO ON and the mic unmuted. 

• It is the expectation that students will have a strong and reliable internet connection to support online tutoring, and class sessions. In the event of internet connectivity issues during a session caused by the instructor’s weak internet connection, MathWorld Academy will ensure that families receive the full amount of time scheduled, either by continuing past the scheduled end time or rescheduling for a different time.
• If the internet connectivity issue is caused by the student’s weak internet connection or any other reason, MathWorld Academy will not provide any credit for the missed time, and the instructor will not extend the affected session, reschedule, or refund the family.

 At MathWorld Academy we try our best to maximize students results. However,  We provide no guarantee regarding students’ scores on the official tests or Grades. 

At least a week notice is required for the termination of the services. If the notice is not provided, you will liable to pay for any planned session during that week. 

MathWorld Academy is committed to protecting your child’s privacy. In compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), MathWorld Academy requires that children under the age of 13 have verified parental consent before having their voice or image recorded in online tutoring or online classes. The following Privacy Policy details how we collect, utilize, and disclose personal information of students under the age of 13 who participate in MathWorld Academy’ online classes and/or online tutoring.

MathWorld Academy does not record the live sessions unless the stundent or the parent requests it. If MathWorld Academy does not receive your consent prior to the date of a group class, your child will be able to view the session live, but will not be allowed to ask questions or participate in class discussion.

• TYPES OF INFORMATION THAT WE CAN COLLECT
  Your child’s voice and image (categorized as Personal Information under COPPA regulations) may be recorded as part of their participation in a tutoring session or group class. In addition, your child’s name will be used during the session(s). Any team activity performance such as scores etc might be shared during the sessions to ontimize learning.
• HOW WE COLLECT THIS INFORMATION
  Our Instructors utilize Zoom or Google meet to connect with your child 1:1 or as part of a group class. We never require your child to disclose more information than necessary in one-on-one sessions or group classes.

• HOW WE USE THIS INFORMATION
  The video and audio for these sessions may be recorded and shared with session participants or can be shared on the website. We can provide full-length video and audio recordings of tutoring sessions and group classes only to the participants of each session if requested. Recordings of group classes will be password protected. We never share your child’s personal information with third parties without your express permission.

• YOUR CONTROL OVER THIS INFORMATION
  You may review your child’s recorded session(s) at any time after you receive a private link to the recording.

If your child is participating in an upcoming group class, or the bootcamps and you request to opt out of recordings, your child will be able to view the session live but will not be allowed to ask questions or participate in class discussion.

This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with regard to the subject matter thereof and the parties waive the right to rely on any alleged expressed or implied provision not contained herein. Any alteration to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. Where the student is a legal minor, the parent/guardian shall enter into this tutoring contract on behalf of the student and shall accept and agree to all the terms and conditions contained herein on behalf of the student.
