The historic YMI building was established 129 years ago in 1872 and has served as a community hub for Western NC’s African-American culture and history. YMI has set a 6 million dollar fundraising goal to renovate its building in downtown Asheville & to provide programming through this cultural institution. Trout Insurance has partnered with Friday & Alignment Health Plans to match all donations up to $2,500. Together we can help this historic institution thrive for many years to come. 100% of donations will be given directly to YMI. This fundraiser is hosted by Trout Insurance in WNC.
