    Financial help for undocumented and immigrant students.
  • The Dream Resource Center at Columbia College provides support to undocumented and immigrant students who are facing extenuating financial challenges. 

    This grant is for emergencies only as outlined below:

    Dream Resource Center Grants -depending on need, grants vary from $50 to $250 designed to provide financial assistance to students with the following extenuating expenses:

    • rent,
    • medical services,
    • books,
    • transportation,
    • groceries,
    • and other emergency expenses 
  • Eligibility

    In order to be eligible for a Dream Resource Center grant(s) students must meet all of the following criteria:

    Must be:
    • Undocumented or non-U.S. citizen
    • And a current Columbia College student enrolled in at least 0.5 units or noncredit ESL course(s) and working towards an academic goal. 

     

    Requirements

    Please fill out all required information listed below. In addition, completed applications MUST include appropriate receipts and proof of need (i.e. lease contract, statements, bills, expiring Work Authorization card), please scan and upload supporting documents to the application. After your application is received, someone from the Dream Resource Center will contact you for a final decision. These grants are on a first-come-first-serve basis pending funding and students may only apply once a semester.

    Availability

    If approved for funds students will be contacted. Funding may be provided in the form of bank mobile or voucher card.
