Herizons Ongoing Call for Pitches
Herizons Magazine has been Canada’s foremost feminist magazine since 1992. Herizons publishes social commentary on art, culture, and legal/political/community affairs related to gender, race, and sexuality. Each issue includes timely, feminist-informed essays, news, and reviews, prioritizing writers based in Canada. Herizons is published 4 times per year in Winnipeg (Treaty 1 Territory) and is distributed across the country. We are only accepting submissions from writers based in Canada. Submissions are open year round.
We appreciate your interest in writing for us. Due to the volume of submissions, we will only follow up with successful pitches. Accepted pitches will undergo an editing process, and contributors are paid upon publication (see rates below in CAD). If you have any questions, please contact senior editor Christina Hajjar at firstname.lastname@example.org.
