I understand USDA endorsement can take up 7 business days – plus time for shipment – and Bayshore Veterinary Clinic does not have control of certificates/processing time once submitted to the USDA. I understand there is no “expedited” processing offered by the USDA for endorsement.

I understand that some countries require the original USDA Endorsed Certificate to travel. These certificates need to be submitted with an attached return label. If you would like us to create the label, we will select a UPS Next Day air Early morning delivery ( before 10: 30 am ). Bayshore Veterinary Clinic will not be responsible for any USDA or UPS delays.
If you are a New client and your pet has received vaccines at another facility, please remember to bring your pet’s medical history, proof of vaccines (including rabies vaccination), rabies certificate, and proof of microchip to your appointment. Failure to provide these documents at the time of the appointment may result in delays or prevent us from completing the international health certificate.

I understand that a signed, valid rabies certificate must be on file before scheduling the health exam. A signed, valid rabies certificate includes the following: Dr.’s signature and license number Date of vaccination and when the vaccine is next due Vaccine product expiration date Vaccine manufacturer and product name Vaccine batch number Pet’s name, age, breed, and color The certificate must be in English or with a full English translation If a microchip is listed as a requirement for the country of travel, the microchip must be listed on the rabies certificate.
After July 31st. 2025:
All dogs entering or returning to the U.S. must be accompanied by a CDC Dog Import Form receipt.
Dogs coming from dog rabies-free or low-risk countries do not require any other documents, but must still meet other requirements, such as appearing healthy, having a microchip, and being at least 6 months of age.
Dogs coming from high-risk countries will need additional documents.
