    Introduction

Pilgrim School offers a concession on tuition fees where Family Income is less than $115,000.

Family Income refers to gross family taxable income, being gross income prior to salary sacrifice/salary packaging, taxation, negative gearing, income allocation to trusts etc.

If this is applicable to you, please submit your details through this form. You will be required to enter your income details then upload supporting documents including your 2025 Income Tax Notice of Assesment.

The cut-off date to submit this form and the required documentation is Sunday 23rd November 2025.

    The required evidence is:

    • a signed Income Declaration (part of our online application form); and
    • a copy of your 2025 Income Tax Notice of Assessment(s) issued by the Australian Taxation Office.

The standard fee tier will apply unless we receive the required evidence by the due date. This cut-off date is important as we need time to review the submissions and prepare fee details in the FACTS Management fee system ready for the new school year. If you do not provide the required evidence by the due date, the standard fee level will apply.

If for any reason it is not possible to have the required evidence submitted by the due date, please make contact with the Business Manager to discuss this prior to the due date.

Note: we reserve the right to request a full copy of your Income Tax Return(s) to establish the appropriate fee tier (eg where we need to clarify details regarding negative gearing etc).

Salary sacrifice superannuation: this amount is for any additional superannuation you have had deducted from your gross salary before PAYG tax is calculated – this is superannuation you are choosing to contribute above the compulsory 12% employer contribution. Other salary sacrifice amounts: similar to 1 above, but for any other non-superannuation amounts you have salary-packaged from your gross salary before PAYG tax is calculated. Rental property loss: this is the amount of rental loss showing as Net Rent at Item 21 in your personal Income Tax Return. Other negatively gearing investment losses: this is the amount of other losses from negatively geared investments shown elsewhere in your personal Income Tax Return (such as where your Interest deductions at Item D7 and Dividend deductions at Item D8 exceed your Gross interest at Item 10 and Dividends at Item 11). Family income diverted through trusts: this is gross income that has been paid out to other family members and investment entities (eg a family investment company) through the use of a fixed or discretionary trust.
