    *Assembly Required, the Asheville Designer Toy Expo, is a two-day in person event, that gives independent artists a much needed platform to represent and sell their work to collectors, and artists alike.

     

  • If you are interested in participating in an echo chamber of inspiration, and surrounding yourself with your people, please complete the application below for our 2023 event. As this event is curated so that we stay true to our focus and theme, this will include an opportunity to show us some examples of your work.

If you are unsure if you intend to share your table, and decide at a later date to do so, a post application review of your guests work will occur. Deviation from this policy will impact eligibility in future *Assembly Required events.

  • PLEASE NOTE: Credit cards are not charged immediately. This is an application to participate in *Assembly Required 2023, and will be reviewed for event compliance.

    Once an application has been reviewed, you can anticipate a follow-up email from us confirming your application status. Only submissions that are accepted into *Assembly Required 2023 will be charged the registration fee.

     

    WAITLIST APPLICANTS: Your credit card will only be charged in the following circumstances (in this order): 

    • You have properly submitted this application to be placed on our waitlist
    • A participating artist has pulled out, and a table has become available
    • We have reviewed your work for theme compliance and think your work would be a good fit for our event
    • We have contacted you directly to confirm your availability to participate
    • You have given us authorization to process the registration fee 
    • Your card was successfully charged
    • You received an email confirmation of your participation
