    above is correct and furthermore acknowledge that the Market at De Charmoy Estate will be relying heavily on the accuracy of
    this information.

    I / We furthermore undertake to advise The Market at De Charmoy Estate immediately should any of the information furnished
    above change.

    I/we further understand that by my signature hereunder that The Market at De Charmoy Estate will be under no obligation to use the services as detailed above and that this submission is an application bid to provide services and/sell a product only.

  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • 1.The market strictly supports locally produced products.
    2. We do not allow more than one vendor to stock the same product.
    3. A catalogue of your products, and/or images to be provided of your product/services and a typical setup of your table with the application thus ensuring the
    products approved upon submission is what is sold, presented or offered at the event.
    4. We only allow food to be prepared on gas. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are compliant with all municipal laws.
    5. Food Vendors Will need to complete Documentation in compliance with health & safety by-laws
    6. For any event you may be the selected vendor at, you are expected to advertise your participation at the event on
    social media. You must like our page in order to share details of the event to your audience and
    followers.
    7. The cost of stalls per site per day are as follows and may be subject to change:
    •R300 per Stall (Excluding food Stalls)
    R350 per food stall.

    8. This application is to register as a potential vendor for various events throughout the year at The Market at De Charmoy Estate. If you are selected and have committed to an event, you are required to attend. Failure to arrive will result in you not being able to participate in future markets or events.
    9. Set up starts at 2 hours and 30 minutes before the event starts and must be complete 30 minutes before the event is due to start. If a stall is not set up by the time the market starts, you will not be allowed to participate at future markets.
    10. All traders are required to remain for the full time of the designated event. If you
    have sold out, please put up a sign/be available to let customers walking pass know that you are sold
    out.
    11. All traders are required to supply their own chairs, tablecloths, décor & lighting. Please bring your own
    extension cords and multi-plugs if you have indicated that you will require a plug point.
    12. You will be allocated 1 x site to set up your stall. This space is approximately 2m long x 2m wide for Craft and Premium Craft Vendors. If you need more space, please request & pay for 2 x stalls. Please bear in mind that you will be charged per the number of sites. Please advise in the General section if more than 2 sites are required for special pricing
    13. Presentation of your product is key. This is specifically for the food stalls. Please make sure you present
    your goods as appetizing and appealing. We do not allow polystyrene or plastic packaging. Please
    source alternative serving options.
    14. If you are cooking food, the following regulations must be adhered to: All cooking appliances need to be
    gas ONLY. You may have 2 x 9 kg bottles or 1 x 18 kg bottle. You must bring a fire extinguisher. You
    need a covering of sorts to cover the floor and kindly ensure that your site is thoroughly cleaned
    afterwards – otherwise, you will be subjected to a R300.00 fine. Please ensure you wear gloves & hair
    nets when dealing with food.
    15.Whilst every reasonable precaution is made to ensure that not more than one vendor supplies the same Product, by requesting an upfront listing of products that will be sold, as well as images and price lists, the market organisers cannot be held liable, by way of the accidental or negligent error or omission by either itself, employees, agents, or others, should this occur. Further, should your product offering on the day of market not be the same as your application approval the market organizers cannot be held liable.
