The event is about the dance festival from Gujarat, India. A festival that lasts 9 nights and is close to the heart of all Gujaratis around the globe. The festival is a part of the Gujarati culture, where the people come together irrespective of religion, caste, creed, gender or age and perform the traditional dance called Garba to folk songs. Garba, a dance, a trance, is performed in circle and symbolizes the cycle of time revolves, from birth to life, to death, and again to rebirth. Garba dances celebrate fertility, honor womanhood, and pay respect to any of an array of motherhood. The festival is celebrated every year in September/October (according to the Vikram Samvat calendar).
