Adult Hebrew Classes

Learn to read Hebrew via Zoom! Temple Sinai presents "Hebrew for Adults" with class instructors Marilyn Roberts (Hebrew 1) and Rabbi Sara Zober (Hebrew 2). Starting soon after the High Holidays!

Have you always wanted to read Hebrew? Did you once learn, but forgot everything over time? This Adult Beginning Hebrew class is for you!

We hope to start up TWO adult (13+) basic Hebrew classes over Zoom after the holidays.

HEBREW 1 (learn alef-bet) will be taught by Marilyn Roberts and will be held on Thursday evenings and will be a basic Hebrew skills class for those who have never studied Hebrew before--a real primer course.
HEBREW 2 will be taught by Rabbi Sara Zober and will continue to run on Tuesday evenings and will dive deeper into Hebrew.

Both classes are essential, especially for anyone considering an adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

Instead of a form enrolling in the classes, we ask that you fill out the simple contact information on the interest form below. Our instructors (Marilyn Roberts and Rabbi Sara Zober) will receive your inquiry automatically. They will then contact you to make sure that you understand exactly the scope of the class and the level of Hebrew they will offer.

Please note that there is a class fee of $50 per student and a book fee of $32 per book.
