    For new educators, SkillsUSA can help create a roadmap to success. The Rookie Advisor of the Year recognizes educators new to the profession who embrace SkillsUSA programs and ideals, and show dedication to career and technical education as a whole.
  • ELIGIBILITY

    Individuals currently employed as full-time classroom/laboratory teachers in a career and technical education program, academy, cluster, or small learning community are eligible for this award. Nominees must be a professional members for a minimum of one but no more than four years (Applicants may be in their fourth year of teaching at the time of application). Age is not a determining factor. (Candidates must be new Advisors for SkillsUSA within the four-year window.)

    A nominee should have been involved in SkillsUSA Florida activities related to the SkillsUSA Program of Work at the regional, state, and/or national levels.

     

    GENERAL INFORMATION

    Separate nominations may be submitted for as many individuals as desired.

    The deadline for submission is February 28.

    This award will be given to no more than one individual, per division, per year.
