Studio Rental in the Guida Family Creative Wing at HPAC

Hyde Park Art Center is a hub for contemporary arts in Chicago, serving as a gathering and production space for artists and the broader community to cultivate ideas, impact social change, and connect through expanded networks.

The Guida Family Creative Wing, which houses the Jackman Goldwasser Residency and a limited number of rental studios furthers the Art Center’s mission to support artists at every stage of their development. This space within a community to foster dialogue, encourage practice, establish connections with the aim of making the artistic process visible to our audiences.

Studio 4:

Price: $550 per month
Size: 721 SF (360 SF/each)
The studio has a sink.
The studio is northwest facing and has lots of windows and great natural light.
The studio is shared between 2 artists (1 artist currently renting)
12 month lease with the option of renewing once. The lease starts June 10th.

Studio 7:

Price: $600 per month

Size: 380 SF
The studio is northwest facing and has lots of windows and great natural light.
The studio is private and for one artist.
12 month lease with the option of renewing once. The lease starts June 5th.

Perks of renting at Hyde Park Art Center:

Located in the Guida Family Creative Wing, studio renters are invited and encouraged to participate in seasonal open studios (four each year) and coffee meetings every other month with residency artists and Art Center Staff.
24-hour private access to a secure building.

Applications are due Friday, May 30, 2025.

Applications after May 30 will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
