Consequences
A formal letter via email will be sent to all executive and parents, indicating their Club’s non Compliance.
Should a club choose to not comply with the above rules and regulations set out by the CBTF and the ABTA, ABTA will hold their memberships until such time that the club does comply. Should these memberships be late for submission to CBTF (November 1, 2022), a late fee will be applied and it will be the responsibility of the club to pay the membership and all late fees associated with that membership.
Club websites which are non-compliant will be removed from the ABTA website. Once the club proves the website is compliant, it will be reinstated to the ABTA website.
Any websites that are a business, not a club will be immediately taken off the ABTA website under the CLUBS tab, however it can be posted under the LINKS tab. This business website must not include things that relate to the running of the club such as schedules, fees, etc. Anything club related is the responsibility of the club to post.
If a club remains non-compliant, their members will not be able to compete or participate in ABTA or CBTF sanctioned competitions or events.
Should Clubs choose to remain non-compliant, letters will be sent to facilitates (gyms, school boards, leisure centers) indicating that the Club is no longer associated with the ABTA and are not entitled to insurance coverage provided by the CBTF.
