The studio is open for lessons year-round. Your annual tuitiona0guarantees that I will be prepared and present to teach 44 lessonsa0each studio calendar year. The total annual tuition is divided into 12 equal payments which also include all core method books, theory books, Piano maestro, Supersonics, and recital fees. Annual tuition pricing will increase every September.

PAYMENTS ARE DUE VIA AUTOPAY ON THE FIRST DAY OF EACH MONTH.a0 Lessons will NOT proceed without payment.a0

A late payment fee of $30 will be accessed on the 2nd day of the month for any payments not received on the first day of the month.a0

Heartland Charter School Students

Families using Heartland Charter School funding are required to keep a valid credit card on file. While Heartland typically covers tuition through enrichment certificates, parents are ultimately responsible for ensuring payment is completed each month. If for any reason Heartland does not issue or process payment, the parent/guardian will be responsible for the full tuition amount.

Sound Beginnings

Sound Beginnings classes are 15-week semesters and may be paid in full or in 4 monthly installments. Material fees must be paid to Let's Play Music each semester.a0

a0By signing up for a Sound Beginnings semester, ita0is expected that your child will remaina0fora0the entire 15-week semester of Sound Beginnings.

Payment installmentsa0MUST be paid via autopay until the entire semester balance is paid. If you choose to discontinue during the 15 weeks, the entire balance must be paid immediately.a0

Students are to arrive on time with their book(s) and materials at their specified lesson time. Lessons will not be extended for late arrivals. Responsible parties are welcome to wait in our outdoor waiting area, in their vehicle, or may return at the conclusion of the lesson. Vehicles are to be parked on the street. DO NOT park or block the driveway.

NO REFUNDS, CREDIT, OR MAKEUP LESSONS will be given for missed lessons. There are 44 lessons available to you in your scheduled time slot, yet only 40 lessons are charged in the tuition pricing. This gives you 4 free lessons during the year.  A student who misses a lesson will simply miss the benefit of that lesson. Your tuition reserves your weekly time slot and benefits within the studio. The remaining weeks of the year are not included in the price of tuition and are either holidays, vacations, or teacher flex weeks

In cases of illness or emergency on the teacher's behalf, an entire day of lessons may be rescheduled or the teacher may use flex time. Flex time is planned time off generally used for teacher illness or personal time off. These are not included in the price of annual tuition and can be taken at any time.

 

Students are expected to be in good health when attending class. Should the student show signs of illness (runny nose, coughing, sneezing, fever, etc.), the lesson will end immediately. Students who are feeling mildly ill may contact CFM to request an online lesson during their scheduled lesson time or request an emailed video lesson. 

*For Sound Beginnings- only the caregiver participating in the class may remain in the studio.

Assignments are given each week and are to be completed before the next lesson.  Students are expected to practice daily between 15-60 minutes depending on the student's age and level. Caregivers are encouraged to be supportive and active participants (especially with younger students) in the practice at home.*

Participation in studio activities such as group events, recitals, concerts, and holiday parties are encouraged but not required. 

For safety reasons, families (students, siblings, friends, etc.) are not permitted to explore the grounds of the property or its amenities. Families should remain only in the designated waiting area (or their vehicle) and should not walk around other parts of the property, including near windows or other structures, out of respect for the family's privacy and home.

 

 

One month's notice is requested prior to discontinuing lessons, however, we respect the student’s right to end lessons at any time. If you give notice after the 15th of the month, however, you will be charged an additional month of tuition.

NOTE: The instructor may discontinue lessons at any time, for any reason including, but not limited to, unpaid tuition, excessive absences, showing a lack of interest, inappropriate or disrespectful behavior, or any violation of this studio policy.

In addition, I hereby release Christine Fogh and her family from all liability from personal injury, property loss, or damages to myself, or anyone in my party, resulting directly or indirectly from studio activities.
