Terms and Conditions – NE Waste Reuse and Repair Network
Your details may be published in the newspaper, on NE Waste and member Councils website and Facebook pages. You do have the option when registering to make your phone number private.
NE Waste and member Councils may pass on your contact details and information of your repair services to media outlets for the purposes of promotion of the Reuse and Repair Online Directory.
All Individuals must be over 18 years of age to be listed.
Only Individuals, Businesses and Organisations located within the NE Waste region and member Council areas are eligible to register.
Registering with the Reuse and Repair Online Directory is completely free.
At its absolute discretion, NE Waste may refuse to allow anyone to register or create an account on the Reuse and Repair Online Directory or cancel or suspend any existing account.
NE Waste has no responsibility and makes no warranty as to the truth or accuracy of any aspect of any information provided by Individuals, Businesses or Organisations listed, including, but not limited to, the ability of those listed to perform tasks or supply items, or the honesty or accuracy of any information provided by those listed.
NE Waste has no obligation to anyone using the Reuse and Repair Online Directory to assist or involve itself in any dispute between parties.
Without limiting any provision of this Agreement, any information You supply to NE Waste must be up to date and kept up to date and must not:
- be false, inaccurate or misleading or deceptive;
- be fraudulent or involve the sale of counterfeit or stolen items;
- infringe any third party's copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or intellectual property rights, rights of publicity, confidentiality or privacy;
- violate any applicable law, statute, ordinance or regulation (including, but not limited to, those governing export and import control, consumer protection, unfair competition, criminal law, anti discrimination and trade practices/fair trading laws);
- be defamatory, libellous, threatening or harassing;
- be obscene or contain any material that, in Council’s sole and absolute discretion, is in any way inappropriate or unlawful, including, but not limited to obscene, inappropriate or unlawful images; or
- contain any malicious code, data or set of instructions that intentionally or unintentionally causes harm or subverts the intended function of the online platform, including, but not limited to viruses, trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, easter eggs or other computer programming routines that may damage, modify, delete, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept, access without authority or expropriate any system, data or Personal Information.
If in the future you no longer provide repair services you are required to notify NE Waste and you will be removed from the Reuse and Repair Online Directory.
NE Waste and member Councils are a promoter of the Reuse and Repair Online Directory initiative only. Individuals, Businesses and Organisations who register to be listed on the directory are responsible for all elements of their repair service (including ensuring services and site conditions comply with all relevant laws and regulations
Privacy Protection Notice
Purpose of collection: Public occess to Council's documents.
Intended recipients: Council stoff ond is publicly available under the GIPA Act.
Supply: Voluntary, a consequence of non-provision is that insufficient information will be provided.
Access/Correction: Requests for access/ correction of information under the GIPA Act or Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998, contact Council's Right ta Information Officer.
Storage: This form will be recorded in Council's Corporate Records Management System upon receipt
