College Credit Information
We are an accredited gap year program with the Gap Year Association which allows our participants to receive college credit on our programs and to use 529 College Savings funds to pay for their program tuition.

College Credit: Participants are eligable for 6 college credits for completing the two courses offered by the GYA school of record, the University of Montana: COLS 191 Self and Culture and CTE 191 Leadership Development. There is additional fee for college credit of $1950. This is a flat fee that covers both courses. Courses are completed by independant study in addition to the classes on our program. Participants have 30 days post-program to complete course requirements.

529 Funds: Enrolling for college credit will make it possible to use 529 funds to pay for your program tuition. For more information regarding the enrollment process, payment with 529 funds and course requirements, please contact Andrea Mardon, Executive Director, at andrea@berridgeprograms.com

Scholarship Applicants
If you are applying for a scholarship, please make sure that you have read the scholarship information linked on our website before you apply.

In addition to the regular application, Scholarship Applicants will need to submit:

-Reference Letter from a teacher who knows you well

-Portfolio/Audition Materials

-Written Statement of Financial Request

-Most recent tax return from all parents/legal gaurdians

PORTFOLIO/AUDITION MATERIAL: For ACTING, please submit a 1-2 minute audition monolouge from a published play/musical. For FILM, STUDIO ART or MUSIC, please submit any pieces of work you would like us to consider. Work should be submitted via We Transfer in one complete file to andrea@berridgeprograms.com.

FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Please write a brief statement telling us about your financial situation and why you are requesting scholarship. If you are self funding the program please state that here.

TAX RETURNS: You will also need to include copies of all tax returns for parents and legal gaurdians. This should show both gross and adjusted gross income.

Please note, we ask that you only submit a Scholarship application that is COMPLETE with all of the requested items. Applications that do not have all of these items cannot be considered. Please email all of your supporting documents to andrea@berridgeprograms.com. Files over 1MB should be sent via We Transfer to andrea@berridgeprograms.com.

Please note that if you were referred to our program by a camp advisor or referral service, a commission may be owed to the person who referred you. Any commissions paid for a referral are covered by us, the program, and not by the participant. They will not be reflected in your fees nor will your program tuition be increased to cover any commissions.

There is no deposit due with this application.

You will receive an email confirmation of your acceptance into the program within 7-10 days of your application. Once you have been accepted there will be a $2500 USD deposit due for our gap year programs and $1500 for our summer program. Full payment is due 90 days before your program start date. If you apply within 90 days of a program start date, your full tuition will be due upon acceptance.
