Membership Application

There are two qualifications to be a member of SFMade:

1. Your company must have a San Francisco BAN (Business Account Number).

• Don’t have a BAN yet? Go ahead and apply. We can help you get one. 

2. Your company manufactures a physical product in San Francisco or contracts the production of a physical product that is made in San Francisco.

 

 
THE FINE PRINT:

Typically these are goods for resale (ie: Consumer Packaged Goods, white label, contract, OEM, and other B2B sales), however, companies engaged in R&D only (ie: building physical prototypes) may be eligible. Companies that offer only services or digital products are not eligible for membership.

 
Food and beverage manufacturers must have at least one packaged, standard line of products intended to be consumed off-site. For example, a bakery that sells muffins to multiple cafes would be eligible. A wedding cake company that sells unique custom cakes directly to consumers would not be eligible.
