Photo Voice Contest Rules
Theme: What you think of when you hear “Chatham-Kent”.
- The good, the bad, and the ugly - Your voice matters, and we are not here to supress your expression. However you feel, and whatever form that takes in your photos, is yours to share.
Deadline: November 30th, 2022 by 11:59pm
Eligibility: Must be between 14 and 29 years of age, and live in Chatham-Kent, Ontario.
Photo Details: You can uploaded as many photos as you like, and can always submit more forms if you have new pictures, up to 11:59pm on November 29th, 2022.
- You can take photos of things that represent what you think of when you hear "Chatham-Kent". Photos can include activities, objects, people, etc.
- All submissions must be in high resolution format (jpg, gif, png, or bmp) with a maximum size of 30MB
- Photos must be originals. If someone is assisting with taking a photo of yourself, you must have permission from the photographer to use the photo for this purpose.
- Photos can be taken through any device.
- Photos must not infringe on copyright or other intellectual property rights and must be relevant to the contest.
- If there are identifiable individuals in the photo, it is your responsibility to obtain, prior to submission of the entry, a signed release form (template form provided on our website). If any individual is under the age of 18, a signed model release form must have the signature of the individuals’ parent or legal guardian. Photos that are not accompanied by such release forms are ineligible.
Posting on Social Media: We also encourage you to post your photos to social media to share and spread the word! Please make sure to use the hashtag #ignitephotocontest
Note: for your photos to be considered in the final vote, they must also be submitted through this form.
Caption Details:
- Each photo must have a caption. 400 word count max. per photo.
- The caption should explain how the photo represent what you think of when you hear "Chatham-Kent".
- Participants are encouraged to be creative with their caption, and are welcome to use varied writing styles (poetry, narrative, story, persuasive, etc.).
- Captions must not be discriminatory or directed at one person.
Prizes:
1st Prize - $200 + Fuji Film Instax mini 11 polaroid camera (with film)
2nd Prize - $100 + Fuji Film Instax mini 11 polaroid camera (with film)
