    Benefits of offering:

    Offering of food: In the future, we will always find nourishing food and drinks, gain freedom from the suffering of poverty, be sustained by the food of concentration and obtain the enjoyments of the Buddhas.

    Offering of incense creates the cause always to experience pleasant smells and never to be reborn in unpleasant places. Offering of flowers creates the cause to have a pleasant appearance in future lives, free from sickness, aging, and other bodily ailments. It also creates the cause to see everything around us in a pleasant aspect. 

    Offering of fruits creates the cause to enjoy working diligently and be complete with concentration and wisdom in the future. Offering fruits will also create the cause that leads to the realization of Nirvana.

    Offering of light makes our mind clear and sharp during meditation, and creates the cause to have clear eyesight. It is also a powerful method for destroying the darkness of ignorance and increasing our wisdom.
