Diversity Education Membership Application Form

The Diversity Educators program is a paid three-semester commitment beginning the Spring of 2023. Please see below for a detailed breakdown of the application and program timelines.

Fall 2022 - Selection Process

Applications Due: Monday, October 31

Applicant Interviews: Monday, November 7 - Friday, November 18

Selection Notifications: Begining Monday, November 21

Deadline to Accept and *Material Pick-Up: Friday, December 2

*Selected Students will be asked to complete a winter reading and writing assignment. All materials will be provided.

Spring 2023 - Training

Thursday, February 2 (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.): Kick-Off and Training 1

Thursday, February 9 (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.): Training 2

Thursday, February 16 (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.): Training 3

Thursday, February 23 (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.): Training 4

Thursday, March 2 (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.): Final Training

Training Graduation: TBD

Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 - Facilitations and Capstone Project

Throughout the 2023-2024 Academic Year, Educators will be asked to:

1) Participate in one pre-organized public facilitiation per semester

2) Participate in classroom and academic facilitiations as needed (based upon educator availability)

3) Organize and lead one independent capstone project on a topic of their choice

Educator Stipend

If selected for the program and participating fully, educators will be compensated for their time and work.

Spring 2023 Training: $150

Fall 2023 and Spring 2024: $350 per semester
