Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a puppy from Daisy's litter, but it does not guarantee I'll get a puppy from this or any future litter. While it's unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time. APPROVAL AND DEPOSIT: I will review applications within 2 business days beginning September 22nd, 2022 . Applications are processed in the order they are received. If your home is a good fit, I'll notify you. YOUR PICK OF PUPPY: Once your application is approved and deposit received, I will hold a puppy of your requested GENDER for you. Puppy selection dates will then be assigned based on order of received deposit, in 48 hour window increments. You may then book an appointment to see puppies in person, or via video conference to choose your puppy during your 48 hour window. If a puppy is not selected during that time, we will then move on to the next family for their selection. Once all families have had an opportunity to choose their puppy, we will then go back to those that did not select their puppy and provide them with another opportunity. Should you elect to not take a puppy from the litter, the deposit is forfeited and the deposit applied to the costs of finding the puppy another home. It is not forwarded to an upcoming litter as we do not have any other litters planned. GOING HOME: Puppies will be 8 weeks old on October 27th, 2022 and thus legally permitted to be separated from their mother at that time HOWEVER, we strongly encourage you to allow your puppy to stay with their mother until 10 weeks of age (November 10th, 2022) for best opportunity of full and healthy development. All puppies MUST go to their new homes by November 13th, 2022 in order for them to begin proper social development in their new home. As we are not a business or a store, PUPPY PICK UP IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. If you have a big vacation planned or have events that would conflict with a young puppy, please know puppies cannot be boarded in a kennel until they have received their full immunizations and their rabies vaccination which cannot be done until 3 months of age. CONTRACT: We have a contract and will not place a puppy without a signed contract. We believe it's the professional thing to do to memorialize our obligations to each other on paper so there are no questions later, and for that reason it's a bit lengthy. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us prior to paying the deposit for your puppy. REGISTRATION PAPERS: Our puppies are eligible for registration with the AKC under "Limited Registration." This means that should you breed your dog, the puppies will NOT be eligible for AKC registration. This is an effort to reduce the chances of one of our beloved GrandPups finding themselves in a "puppy mill" or "backyard breeder" situation, and has no reflection on the outstanding quality of our pups.
