Something new is brewing at Shiawassee Humane Society, Barktoberfest is taking the place of Woofstock this year, bringing a fresh fall twist to one of our favorite events all while supporting an amazing cause!

Gather with fellow pet owners and animal enthusiasts to participate in a one mile pet friendly walk, trick-or-treating (treats for both the 2 and 4 legged), pet costume and ice cream eating contest, local vendors, food, beer/wine tasting, and so much more!

Want to make an even bigger impact for the animals? JOIN THE BARKTOBER PACK CHALLENGE! Raise a minimum of $45 to receive an event t-shirt, tote bag, and entry to the event! SHS is a local, private, and independent animal welfare organization. All gifts directed to SHS are used to assist the animals in Shiawassee County.
