Christel Photography - Fine Art Mini Sessions

Hello there!

We are excited to have the opportunity to take beautiful portraits of your kiddo's! Our goal is to deliver timeless photos full of personality!

The purpose of this form is for us to register your child to have his/her portrait taken by Christel Photography. We will send you an invoice once you have completed/signed the below. Your spot will only be secured once payment is recieved.

Please note: This is NOT a family session. These sessions are for children’s portraits only, and only for your immediate family members. Each session will be 5-10 minutes maximum per child.

We never use names or any personal information. Just our way to share these Fine Art Mini Sessions with the world.

I agree that my child's photo may be used by Christel Photography for purpose of publication, promotions, illustration,advertising, or trade, in any manner or in any medium, without any reservations

By signing, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the information set out in this document, as well as the Terms and Conditions below, and that you agree to it.

The following Terms and Conditions apply:

The client(s) hereby gives Christel Photography permission to photograph their child/children. The photographer permits the client(s) to use the material for their personal and non-commercial use, and only in the following manner: To reproduce, print and copy the material for family and friends and to post, blog and/or display the material on their personal and non-commercial media and social network forums.

The total price of the photo session is payable upon booking. Only once payment is received, the booking is complete.

Christel Photography cannot guarantee any specific poses for any shoot. Keep in mind that some kids are more comfortable during these type of sessions and will give more facial expressions than others. We cannot guarantee any specific facial expression. We want the children to be themselves, no cheesy smiles and awkward poses.

In the unlikely event that Christel Photography cannot perform the paid for service due to any cause beyond their reasonable control e.g. illness, injury, weather, photographic failure or personal crisis, Christel Photography’s responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments made to Christel Photography by the client, unless Christel Photography can make alternative arrangements to still deliver the paid for service. Christel Photography shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Any directions issued to clients during a photographic shoot are deemed to be at said person’s own risk. Christel Photography will not be held responsible/liable for any illness, injury, death, loss, damage, destruction or theft that may occur at or as a result of the photographic shoot.

The client will receive an online gallery containing all their images from the session. The client will then have 5 days to select his/her images, after which their gallery will be closed. To re-open a gallery will require a R50.00 admin fee.

Christel Photography makes use of a backup system to ensure that our client’s precious photographs are kept safe. In the unlikely event that any materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost due to theft or failure of the backup system, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the photographer, the photographer’s liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the photographic session. If the client has already received his/her photographs, Christel Photography will not be held liable should the photographs be lost.

All photographs will be deliverd in JPG format only. It is the responsibility of the client to download his/her photographs. It is the clients’ responsibility to ensure that proper backups are kept of the material commissioned and received.
