Dear Parents and Families,

Mattie Rhodes Center is committed to staying up to date on the latest standards and protocols for COVID-19 as outlined by the CDC, the City of Kansas City & Jackson County.

We are excited to offer programming and are doing our best to create and maintain a safe and healthy environment for our children, youth, families, and participants. The safety and well-being of all of you and our staff are our top priority. We have created procedures that will be updated as appropriate for all programs and program locations. With your help and understanding, we will be able to continue to offer the same quality programming we have always provided.

We look forward to seeing our families and young people this school year, and we are excited to get back to the work we do best…cultivating young people! Thank you for your understanding and commitment to Mattie Rhodes Center!

Youth Participants must arrive no later than 15minutes after the start of program, arriving later than 15 minutes will makeyou ineligible to participate for that day.We strongly suggest that Youth Participants participatefor the full program time. This will ensure that they receive the maximumbenefit from the programThere will be NO late pickup. All students MUSTdepart programming no later than 15 min after program has endedAll participants MUST wear face masks while inprogram. Parents, please talk to children about the importance of facecoverings before they arrive at MRCAll MRC staff will wear proper face masks duringprogram instruction, drop off & pick up times.MRC Staff will take extra precaution and cleanall used table surfaces, materials and equipment.Hand Sanitizer is located throughout thebuilding and program locations for participants. Handwashing with soap andwater will be encouraged at every opportunity during program times

Youth Development Soccer Program

Guadalupe Centers & Mattie Rhodes Center after school programs serves kids in Elementary and Middle School. Programming works directly with our youngest grades (Kindergarten - 8th). We are offering programming throughout the Historic Northeast and westside communities.
