Due to limited funds, the committee is not able to guarantee a particular dollar amount for each applicant & congregation. The final determination of grant amounts will take place after all applications have been received. If funding permits, is your congregation interested in a grant to help offset their pulpit supply expenses?

Synod Leader Grant Team approval:
Within 60 days of completing sabbatical leave, awardees are to submit a 1-2 page reflection on the sabbatical leave experience and submit it to the SLGT chair.

All active rostered ministers currently serving under call in the Southeastern Minnestoa Synod are eligable to apply for a sabbatical grant.
All applications will be considered equally.
The final awarding will be the decision of the Synod Leader Grant Team. Letters of acceptance or denial will be sent out by December 1, 2025 with checks being mailed out in February 2026.
