Shipping expense to send the product back to evo or directly to the manufacturer for approval is the sole responsibility of the customer. If the warranty request is approved, we will cover the shipping expense (if within the United States) of sending the new or repaired product.

If your approved warranty can be remedied with parts, we will send those first. If evo doesn't have the part, we will put in a parts request with the manufacturer.

Any outside expenses that stem from a warranty situation (lift tickets, rental fees, mounting cost, part installs) aren't covered by evo or the manufacturer.

  • Not Covered by Warranty

    • Damage resulting from contact with objects or repetitive contact from park features.
    • Delamination due to impact showing scrapes, gouges, cracked or bent edges.
    • Damage from improper use, misuse, abuse or neglect. This includes but not limited to boxes, rails and rock damage
    • Cosmetic issues including topsheet chipping or peeling and edge rust.
    • Boot damage from board rest while riding the lift.
    • Ripped, torn, cut or abraded fabric.
  • Bike manufacturers only handle warranty claims for possible defects with the frame. Any potential warranty issue relating to bike components (fork, brakes, wheels, seatpost, etc.) are handled directly with the manufacturer of the specific component (Fox, SRAM, Shimano, etc.).

evo store locations or our customer care warranty team can help you navigate this process. There are other options that could be quicker and easier for you as well. Going through your local bike shop can be a good option if they’re an authorized dealer of your frame manufacturer or component manufacturer. They may be able to better evaluate the issue in person and they can process a warranty claim with the manufacturer even if you didn’t buy the bike from them.

Another option is to work directly with the manufacturer. If you go to the manufacturers website, you should find warranty instructions to get the process started.
