Ferry companies being unable to confirm prices until late October 2022 onwards, we have been given outline pricing, due to the current factors surrounding fuel prices globally.
Rather than wait until late October 2022 before sending out a Booking form, this after many discussions, we believe, is the current best way forward.
The Prices the hotels get from ferry companies, are discounted. This is offered only if you book rooms at this hotel and valid for our dance weekender only.
Please note Ferry Prices are not subject to VAT.
CHANGES IN 2023
At our 2023 weekender, BeachRoc will now have two options 1/ Trouville hotel (as in previous years) or 2/ you can book it yourself.
Hotel linked ferry prices were sold to you at cost price (plus admin fee) within your package price (as they have always since 2015), but every year there have been numerous changes to ferry tickets, a vast amount of time by the hotels taken with no fees to cover the changes.
So after the 2022 BeachRoc event validation (and after many changes to original tickets), The Hotels now require BeachRoc to process each ferry ticket for an admin fee of £12 (including Vat), on top of the tickets cost price, which is now separate from your hotel package price.
But you could save this by doing the booking yourself (see further on).
If there are any changes to a ticket (once issued), each alteration is a £12 fee.
The alternative could be is for you to book your own ferry (from a BeachRoc provided link) and not pay the Admin fees.
This is still under discussion but we may be able to give you a "one off" code for our event period, which is being currently proposed by ferry companies. You would be in control for your own ferry booking and would make your own changes if required.
However with any BeachRoc ferry bookings or special link, there are only a limited number of car spaces per crossing at hotel discounted pricing (and that all hotels on the IOW are collectively trying to possibly book the same times).
EXTEND YOUR TIME ON THE ISLE OF WIGHT
This would also be for those who wish to extend their stay on the Isle of Wight. There could be ferry supplements depending on the length of the extended period, but this will be shown when you are trying to make a booking.
BOOK YOURSELF- DIRECT
If you make a completely separate direct booking (by-passing BeachRoc) with either Ferry Company, you will pay the "going rate", however you will have the flexibility to guarantee the ferry crossing times you want.
