Tryouts are open to all 4th - 8th grade girls that will be attending BFA St. Albans High School.

Essex Sting is hosting a new basketball league this year where ALL games will be held at Essex High School and will be on Sundays, ranging in times from 8:00am - 3:00pm.

The Comet program is excited to join this new league in hopes that this will make it easier for traveling purposes and for families with multiple players.

Tryouts will be held on Saturday, October 1st

4th - 6th grade will be from 9:00am - 10:30am at BFA

7th & 8th grade will be from 10:30am - 12:00pm at BFA

This is a competitive basketball league which requires a commitment from both players and parents/guardians. You will be responsible for the transportation to and from all games. In the month of October we will plan to have 2 - 3 practices a week and once games start in November, one practice a week if possible.

There will be a fee to play which will include the price to enter a team plus any fee for uniforms.

There is NO fee to sign up or tryout and we encourage all girls, grades 4th - 8th that are interested in playing basketball to sign up.
