In awarding grants, primary consideration will be given to applicants with special identified needs and applicants who are at critical points in ministry (for example, appointment changes, life changes, potential for exemplary leadership).
The application and selection process is confidential and conducted by the Clergy Development subgroup of the Board of Ordained Ministry. Funding will be made payable to the sponsoring agency, coach, or applicant, as appropriate.
Participation in the approved learning experience must begin within 6 months of the funding approval. Once the learning experience or coaching has been completed, an evaluation of learning should be completed. If this form is not completed, funds will not be available to the applicant in the future.
