This form is for Certified Candidates pursuing Licensing as Local Pastors in the Valley Ridge District. If you are in a different district do not use this form. Visit the forms page on the Conference website to find the form for your District.
Congratulations on taking the next step in your new journey! This is where you will start your journey toward becoming a Licensed Local Pastor.
This stage in the process requires you to:
- Write, preach/record, and describe a sermon of your choosing.*
- Provide written responses to a series of questions
- Provide the date you became a Certified Candidate
- Request an Interview to be Recommended for Licensing
- Attend Licensing School
Once this form is submitted, a copy will go to your dCOM Chair, who will then circle back and discuss timing for an interview.
*This form will save your entries and can be revisited if it has not been submitted. However, it is better to have your sermon manuscript and video ready for upload and to be prepared ahead of time to complete the form in one sitting.
Materials should be uploaded for review by your dCOM TWO WEEKS prior to your interview if possible. This will give your dCOM time to digest the material and make an informed recommendation in your process.
